While going around shooting some rally event at the Sepang circuit, stumbled on the BMW driving training session. Held at the paddock carpark area, the participants were divided into 2 groups; each group doing a different subject.
According to the BMW Malaysia website, it says and i quote: "BMW Driver Training lets you acclimatise yourself with different conditions. You will also pick up helpful tips and will learn the finer points of safe driving from professionals. This could be the most exciting class you'll ever attend."
How much would such an exciting class cost you? A whooping $1700 !! ($1500 if you happened to be a BMW White Card Elite Member). Oh...and it's fully booked.
With the help and guidance of the professionals, you will be able to enter corners in style..
while imagining you're Heidfeld or Kubica..
One of the course subject is the emergency braking training. What happen is you take off at full speed from the end of the line..
and stop at the designated braking area.
Sounds simple right? Now put a cone there and you have to stop before hitting it..
"Oh Sxxx!! I think i just hit something"
Mission accomplished!!
